Preventive maintenance system

Preventive maintenance, or PM, is regular, planned maintenance that is scheduled by maintenance triggers, including time, usage, event, and condition. The purpose of PM is to lessen the likelihood of equipment breakdowns. 

What is a task list? 

•         List of activities desired to be carried out on equipment drawn from OEM guidelines, repair histories, criticality, usage patterns for equipment, and equipment failure reports. 

•         Common examples of preventive maintenance tasks are regular Inspection, cleaning, lubrication, replacement of parts, and equipment repairs.
