Background

Just before moving to the United Kingdom in 2015 for my master’s degree in electronic and electrical engineering at the University of Leeds, I was asked by Shirley, “what would you bring back to Nigeria?”. I said good maintenance culture. While reflecting on life, I couldn’t help but realize that God has been faithful, as I haven’t deviated so much from the master plan.

Currently, I work as a Maintenance and Continuous Improvement Engineer, and I intend to do my best in the future to educate people (primarily in Nigerian manufacturing industries) about the importance of good maintenance practices and how they can help sustain asset reliability and improve productivity by reducing waste and downtime.
